Today we went on another local history walk. We went up the Quarry Road where we saw where all the stone was sourced for the beautiful walls & houses in our village, chiselled by hand & brought by donkey & cart. We then saw the beautiful cut stone houses, the Presbyterian church, Horse's Tail and other wild flowers, Corgrigg House, Birney Madigan's house and said a prayer at the grotto.
